Parents Weekend 2008 will be October 10th-12th! Please mark your calendars for this event and then register to attend. We hope you will be able to join us for the weekend.

FAQ

Attire: We know many people are traveling to attend Parents Weekend, and we want you to be comfortable and relaxed for the Weekend. So please dress comfortably and wear good walking shoes. The weather in Nebraska can be unpredictable. So, while we will hope for nice weather, you are encouraged to bring a jacket and an umbrella - just in case.

Prices: Parents Weekend activities are designed as a "package." We are unable to break out prices for individual activities or items. The cost is (to be determined) per participant (although your UNL student may attend at no cost). Checks should be made payable to UNL. (Fee is non-refundable after September 26, 2008.)

Special Needs: If you have special dietary or physical requirements, please contact the UNL Parents Association/Student Affairs Office at (402) 472-3755 or via email at thumphress1@unl.edu so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.

(Note: Hotels fill up quickly; you may want to make your reservations as soon as possible. Please mention that you will be attending the University of Nebraska's Parents Weekend in order to get any available discounts. Most hotels recommend that you use the local reservations phone number to get the discount.)
